Don't know if it's the server calling out the order or the cook making the order but there needs to be more attentive to the order and communication with the order.
My hubby ordered plain hash browns, a sweet tea, and a Deluxe Double Cheese Burger, it didn't have cheese on it when it came to the table so we had to ask for it. I ordered a waffle with two scrambled eggs and a coffee. Waffle came to the table cold because they set it aside on the counter while my hubby's food and my eggs were cooking. So we had to ask them for another waffle to be made. While waiting for my waffle, I noticed that there was a build up of waffle batter around and under the waffle iron.. Had to also ask for coffee and iced tea to be refilled (which the waitress did not bother to put any additional ice in my hubby's cup) and to ask waitress to explain a 45 cent charge which was for lettuce and tomato on his burger(there was nothing stating that there would be an extra charge for the lettuce and tomato). Aside from that, 2 of the employees were being very loud almost to the point of yelling with their conversation. I can understand yelling out food orders, but food wasn't the topic of conversation... We are extremely disappointed with the food, the service, the way the food cook space is kept and have made the decision to no longer eat at Waffle House ever again... I work in a restaurant myself so there are somethings that I can understand, but this was just beyond understanding.
We don't have this problem at another location here in town.
Went for the chili to take home. My waitress there was very nice, so happy and friendly polite and sweet. I did not expect that level of hospitality from WaffleHouse.
Excellent service. The food was prepared in a timely fashion cooked just right.
Food was good. Even though the was busy and had a packed house my wait wasn't long nor getting my food took long. Great teamwork. I will go back.
Today is the last time my wife & I come to this location. My wife had the Texas bacon Patty melt. Had no onions on sandwich (like she wanted) had no onions in hash browns like she wanted. Had to remake both twice then 1 half of the sandwich had onions while the other half didn't. The server was not apologetic for the messup. My sausage breakfast bowl had grill black in it wasn't happy with it but I ate it anyway. With as much trouble as my wife had I wasn't gonna have another made.
