Very friendly police officers/sheriffs. They're not like some others that are handcuff/gun friendly. They actually want to make sure you and others are safe. They actually make you feel comfortable too. It's a job. Stop judging somebody off of their job title what you see others do on social media. Again it's a job. It's not a stereotype. Everybody's different. They are heroes to me not just law enforcement. Without them this world would be even more chaotic then it already is. Thank you for serving and protecting us!

If you're going to the police dept. It's going to cost you money or time. Stay away from this place if you can.... and don't do anything to make them want to come to your place...
I should have done this sooner, but I have the utmost respect and appreciation of the Winder PD, I had come home from work a little over two years ago and walked into hell at my home. My wife of 29 years was laying in her recliner and she was dead. I flipped out, called 911 and everybody came, Winder police, fire, ems, Barrow county same and the way I was treated plus the way they handled the situation with me showed compapssion, respect and the law meaning explaining to me what was next. So,I hope they get to see this too, the way everything was done made the worst situation ever in my life a lot easier to deal with. This is stuff they can't teach you, you just have to have it. And they do!! Thank you Winder
