Excellent and compassionate staff who really care for you and your pet.
The next day when we came in the staff was so kind and caring, from the front desk to the vets. They prepared a room beautifully for it and euthanized her in such a gentle way, they put an IV in, anesthesized her and then euthanized her. Every attention to detail was paid...as hard as it was to do, they made it as easy on us as possible. Everyone there was empathetic to our plight. Our little princess was so special to my wife and I and we felt that they gave her all the dignity that she deserved and more caring and understanding than we would have dared to expect.
Dr. Duffey is very knowledgeable and I was amazed at his expertise and efficiency. Hands down one of the best small practice veterinarians I've ever seen, and definitely an amazing surgeon as well.

Wow! Where do I begin? Our 14 year old dog starting having urinary incontinence and trembling so we brought her here. Long story short, the incontinence was possibly due to age and her having been spayed but they found cancer that likely went from the spleen to the liver, hence my dog's discomfort/pain. We decided to put her down the next day. They made the decision process easy for us, allowed us to choose the level of diagnostic services that we felt was appropriate and necessary and gave us a realistic picture of our situation, presenting to us all possible options.
The facility is clean and very well maintained. And you really feel like your beloved pet is in the most capable hands possible when you take him or her to Winder Animal Hospital. I can't recommend this vet's office enough!
When we do decide to get another dog they will be our vets. I wouldn't take a pet of mine anywhere else.
Dr. Duffy is hands down the *best* veterinarian I have ever been to. He saved my sweet Blondi's life with a much needed leg amputation. Dr. Duffy is very compassionate and he thoroughly explains everything. His staff is very friendly also!
